As disclosed by officials from Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau said that the city is taking measures in six aspects to promote the development of blockchain industry.

First, strengthen the policy support. A number of supporting policies have been released to identify blockchain industry as one of the key industries of future development and to encourage the leading enterprises to proceed with the industrialization of blockchains.

Second, build an industrial development platform. The city is trying to create an industrial agglomeration of underlying application developers and application service providers, and set up a GBA blockchain alliance.

Third, develop industrial leaders through stronger financial support.

Fourth, unleash potentials of application scenarios. The country’s first upgraded version of blockchain-based electronic invoice was issued in Guangzhou, while Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and Guangzhou Internet Court both began to use blockchain technology in their daily works.

Fifth, provide examples of industrial application. Blockchain enterprises are encouraged to integrate with the real economy for joint development.

Sixth, promote the orderly development of the blockchain industry.
