Wang Shitong, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Office of Leadership Group for Talent Works met with Freddy Boey, the deputy president of National University of Singapore (NUS) and his colleagues.

Wang extended a warm welcome to Deputy President Freddy Boey and his colleagues, and briefed the city’s economic and social development to the visitors. He said that NUS is a world-class university and enjoys great reputation in social sciences, natural sciences and many other fields. He would be very delighted to see the cooperation between NUS and Guangzhou in commercialization of research results and talent exchange.

Freddy Boey highly praised Guangzhou’s achievements in economic and social development and expressed his interest in further cooperation with the city on S&T researches and talents. He said NUS is particularly interested in setting up a research institute or research result commercialization institution, and offer joint education programs in the city. He would also encourage more high-end talents to start innovation and business in Guangzhou.
