Foreigners applied for and claimed FWPs and relevant documents at the one-stop service window

On September 2nd, 2019, the first one-stop service window for foreign high-end talents (Category A) was opened with the joint efforts of Guangzhou Office of Leadership Group for Talent Works, Guangzhou Municipal Government Affairs Data Administration, Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau. This window accepts applications of foreign high-end talents (Grade A) for Foreigner Work Permit (FWP) and Foreigner Residence Permit (FRP), providing seamless services on the two permits. The process of the municipal Science and Technology Bureau is optimized to support the online approval of the FWP application. Upon approval, foreign high-end talents (Category A) may submit paper application materials at the one-stop service window to claim their FWPs and Decisions on Granting of Administrative Permits. They may also submit application materials for a work-type residence permit upon appointment at the same time and get a receipt for it. After 3 working days, they will receive their FRPs by mail or claim their FRPs at the window. In doing so, the FWP and FRP applications therefore can be processed once and for all.
