On October 15th,2019, an academician public lecture with the theme of Paying Tribute to the New China and Chasing Our Dreams in New Era were held in Guangzhou Library.

Present at the public lecture were five academicians, including Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) academician Su Guohui, Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) academicians Fang Binxing, Luo Xiwen and Zhong Shizhen, and Canadian Academy of Engineering academician Du Ruxu. They shared their stories of their personal development along with the new China and how they devoted themselves to science and our country.
